Doug and Allison Hargis have been with the North Coastal NHB for several years.  Doug earned his Bachelors degree in Music Education from Cal State Long Beach and his Masters in Music Education from Southern Oregon University.  Allison received her Music Education Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas (hence the charming accent) and a Masters in Educational Administration from USIU.  Doug is a bassoon player and Allison is a flute player although they both play a mean tuba.

Doug currently teaches in the Poway School District at Black Mountain Middle School and Allison is a Mompreneur.  They have two great kids who are budding violinists.
